In a universe teeming with synthesizers and experimental music, it is rare to hear a band that manages to maneuver through the layers of electronic meteor showers with as much deft and ease as Arpline. The band’s ship is fueled by a primitive appeal that just happens to also sound light years ahead of its time. Lead singer Sam Tyndall’s piercing vocals resonate with raw, almost tribal emotion, while blending familiar elements from decades of rock past. These are matched with the band’s melodic keyboard, punchy and downright rock ‘n roll guitars, and heavy bass beat to form complex and unpredictable melodies.

Travel with ArpLine through shape-shifting sonic territories when they rock T.T. the Bear’s this Thursday. Joining them are Magic Magic, Magic Man, and Some Say Fire, all Foundwaves Weekly Picks.
