Turn the corner just beyond the high trimmed hedges, and there you will find Ravenna Woods seated on white wicker lawn chairs, filling the aromatic garden air with their acoustic yet edgy sound. They plunge in with fast guitar strumming and defined beats, the air popping with the energy of a thousand blooming flowery notes. Foxgloves, roses, snapdragons, petunias, even the occasional daisy or pansy spring from their fingertips. Sometimes the versatile lyrics blend softly like the grass carpet below; at other times the words stand out, sharply cutting through the background ivy like the peaks of a pointy wrought iron fence.
