Videographers

Filming for Foundwaves If there’s a worthy show happening in Boston or the San Francisco Bay Area on the independent scene, we want to cover it. We’re always on the lookout for talented videographers (single cameras and mult-camera crews) who are passionate about live music and can help Foundwaves become the best place to find high-quality concert videography. Check out some of our recent live concert videos. Prior experience filming bands is not necessary to contribute to Foundwaves. We prioritize creativity, a good eye, punctuality, and the ability to shoot in many different lighting situations. There isn’t any monetary compensation, but we will make sure to credit and link to your site, and the free concert admission doesn’t hurt either. And since Foundwaves is growing quickly and will be expanding to other cities soon, we anticipate many other opportunities arising in the future. Although the work can be done remotely, that doesn’t mean we don’t want to meet you. We’re starting to put on Foundwaves concerts at local clubs and will have pre-show meet-ups for our contributors. Also, we’ll occasionally be hosting special invitation-only Foundwaves events like exclusive concerts and video shoots that all of our contributors can attend. Application Details To apply, please send an email to editor@foundwaves.org with “Foundwaves Videographer Application” in the subject. Please include links to some of your videos. Although not necessary, feel free to attach a resume, cover letter, or list of your favorite foods. Thanks for your interest!
